This is a deadstock piece curated from the archive of one of the leading cashmere weavers in Yorkshire, also home of the fabled Escorial wool. Apart from the highest quality that makes the allure of the piece, it is also the unique colouring that we find unusual - a deep, pitch-dark brown that is nearly adjacent to black. This divine piece slides off the finger when being handled. We consider this a blanket piece that can drape over the body as a step down of tailoring, in other words, a sport jacket alternative.
